The Swansea City player ratings as Chelsea and Aston Villa loanees make the difference but Naughton lets side down

FREDDIE WOODMAN 6

Fortunate not to be overly tested in the opening half and was sloppy when clearing at times. But made some good stops in the second half.

KYLE NAUGHTON 5

Made so many important clearances and was very neat in possession, but earned a yellow card for a cynical - although vital - foul on Ivan Toney. Was then red carded for a very poor challenge on Sergi Canos. Left his side with a lot of work to do.

BEN CABANGO 8

The Welshman was a real force in the air and made a ridiculous number of clearances too. A fine display.

MARC GUEHI - Star Man 9

Was a colossus in the opening half and did well in possession, in truth, which wasn't always the case for some of his team mates. Threw his body on the line in the second half. What a display.

CONNOR ROBERTS 6

Made a few important interceptions and was Swansea's best threat on the right flank. Had a real tough battle with Rico Henry though, and Brentford had some joy on his flank. Worked incredibly hard though.

JAY FULTON 7

Some brilliantly timed tackles early on and his role was vital in limiting the threat of the Bees. Perhaps lucky not to earn two yellow cards but a really battling performance.

MATT GRIMES 6

Did relatively well in his deep-lying midfield role again, although his influence in attack was severely limited. Solid enough.

CONOR HOURIHANE 7

On his first league start for the Swans, Hourihane struggled to make an impact in the first half and was booked for a cynical foul. But proved his worth from a set piece that earned Swansea a point.

JAKE BIDWELL 6

Uncharacteristically poor on the ball in the first half and wasn't able to carry much of a threat in attack. Better after the restart though and defended well.

ANDRE AYEW 5

Offered precious little in the first half but did his fair share of defensive work from set-pieces. Too quiet from the main man though.

JAMAL LOWE 6

Tireless efforts, but didn't really get a sniff in front of goal. Did well to win a free-kick for the equaliser. Subbed late on.

Ryan Manning (for Lowe) - Too late to make an impact. N/A
