The Swansea City chant for fans' favourite that's been a year in the making

There wasn't much for the Swansea City faithful to cheer about during their clash with Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Steve Cooper's men managed just one shot on target and saw their unbeaten start to the season come to an end as Alfa Semedo's 85th minute strike earned Sabri Lamouchi's men all three points at the Liberty Stadium.

Bersant Celina was among those to endure a difficult afternoon in South Wales and the Kosovan cut a frustrated figure when he was withdrawn in the second half.

However, the 23-year-old was given the honour of a new chant at the weekend. Or rather it was belted out by the Swansea faithful for the first time at least.

Having joined from Man City in the summer of 2018, fans had been scratching their heads over a potential new song for their creative No. 10.

And long after it was initially discussed among several members of the Jack Army on social media, fans in the East Stand craftily incorporated Celina's surname into the Tequila song.

Fan account Swansea Beat tweeted: "Took us from the end of July 2018 to 14th September 2019. This is going straight to platinum."

Celina has netted twice in seven league appearances for the Swans so far this term.

He scored eight goals during his debut campaign with the club.
