A trio of men have left Scots in stitches after they were caught trying to lure a swan off of a main road in Glasgow.
The animal caused a ruckus on Cumbernauld Road in the city as traffic ground to a halt while it stood in the middle of the busy street.
Three men, dubbed the swan whisperers, were filmed by a local as they desperately tried to entice the swan back to the pavement and out of harms way.

At the start of the clip, traffic can be seen waiting at both ends of the road as one man appears to place food down for the swan.
Two other men get involved in the rescue mission as one even points in the direction he wants the swan to move too.
Food does the trick and the animal eventually crosses the road, out of harms way.

As cars begin to move again, the trio of rescuers stay in place, trying to guide the swan back onto the path.
One man abandons the rescue while another waves his arm in the air in a bid to get the swan moving.
The unbothered bird stays in place, even when a female dog walker approaches with two hounds.
After nearly three minutes the swan eventually moves to pavement as the man filming can be heard laughing in the background as he says "aww this guy man".
The video has since racked up over 100 likes after it was posted in a public Facebook group.
One even tagged comic Janey Godley and said: "Janey Godley's FanPage you need to voice over this, it would be hilarious."
Another added: "Aw bless him. Hope he got home safe."
