The Suspect viewers all say the same thing about 'lurking' plumber in series finale

The Suspect viewers were all saying the same thing about the "wrongun" plumber.

Fans of Aidan Turner's hit-ITV crime drama, which concluded tonight, were all convinced they had solved the case spread across five episodes.

The programme, which follows a psychologist with a secret, ended tonight after a short series of episodes which has left viewers on the edge of their seats.

Everyone seemed to be saying the same thing on Twitter about "that plumber" who just "always seems to be there".

One viewer said: "There’s got to be something about this plumber." Another added: "The plumber?! In #thesuspect proper suspicious."

A third Tweeted: "That plumber must be getting paid a fortune he's been on that job for weeks...." A fourth penned: "The plumber is shifty."

"The plumber is Bobby’s brother. He is the murderer," said another. Another Tweeted: "The plumbers was the one that drugged her.. Bobby's brother 100%!!"

Another added: "so obvious the plumber was involved."

The show follows Doctor Joe O'Loughlin, who appears to have the perfect life having recently gone viral after rescuing a young patient who was ready to jump from the 10th floor of the hospital where Joe works.

When a young woman is found in dead in West London cemetery, questions are raised over whether it was murder or suicide. As a successful author, Dr Joe's opinion is much sought after, and he's only too willing to offer help with profiling and his expertise.

Fan all called out the 'dodgy' plumber (SCU)

Now known for his risk-taking and rule-breaking, questions of Joe's methods and motivations are asked.

Taking to the screen in this psychological thriller alongside Aidan Turner is Shaun Parkes, best known for his role in Small Axe with John Boyega.

There's also Anjli Mohindra, who recently played a leading role in SKY's new exciting thriller, The Lazarus Project.

Camilla Beeput of Peep Show and Harry Hill The Movie is also added to the line-up, playing a more serious role. Beeput also starred in Sky's TV mini-series, Save Me.

And Sian Clifford, star of the critically acclaimed and multi-award-winning show Fleabag, in which she played Phoebe Waller-Bridge 's sister, is also part of the cast.

Sian is also set to be in the next series of His Dark Materials, which is set to return to the BBC before the end of the year.

The Suspect concludes tonight on ITV.
