The surprise inclusion in Newcastle United's top five Fantasy Football points scorers

Newcastle United defeated Fulham to secure the 12th spot in the table and bring a close to a turbulent Premier League season.

With the end of the 2020-21 campaign comes the end of the Premier League's Fantasy Football season - and there's a surprise name capping of Newcastle's top five players.

While it will be no surprise to see Callum Wilson top the charts - his 12 goals and five assists, grabbing him 134 points for the season, it might come as a shock to see Karl Darlow coming it at fourth with 80 points.

The goalkeeper hasn't played for Newcastle since the 21st of February, where he conceded three against Manchester United and finally lost his place to Martin Dubravka - but his performances in the early part of the season were enough to earn quite a few points.

His four clean sheets brought him four points apiece, while goalkeepers are awarded 1pt per every three shots saved - with Darlow making an impressive 88 saves in 25 appearances plus saving one penalty.

West Brom's Sam Johnstone tops the list for saves with 166 - while Dubravka, who only made 13 starts this season, was forced into 45 stops, showing the pressure Newcastle's backline was under.

Miguel Almiron (97pts), Allan Saint-Maximin (85pts) and Joe Willock (79pts) make up the rest of the top five for Newcastle.

Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes topped the overall list with 244pts, just three points ahead of Harry Kane.
