Chelsea have some extra bit of cash coming in from an unexpected source, which could come in handy for Frank Lampard as the Blues' boss prepares for life after a transfer ban.
Estimated figures have revealed that Chelsea come out on top as the London club who earns the biggest amount of monthly revenue from YouTube.
The video sharing website has grown in popularity year on year and with football one of the most popular areas of interest on the site, there is big money to be made, both by individuals and football clubs.
Data compiles by livefootballtickets.com, who ran the top 20 football YouTube channels through Sellfy.com’s YouTube Money Calculator in order to rank how much money each earns during a month.
Chelsea come out in seventh place in the overall list, earning and estimated $186,416 per month, although that is behind the likes of Liverpool, FC Barcelona and Manchester City.
The Blues are however ahead of the likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
With Chelsea currently in the midst of a transfer ban, Frank Lampard is likely to be keen to add to his squad when the sanction is lifted, whenever that may be.
Should the estimates be accurate, over a year, Chelsea will earn around $2,233,752 over a year, which could add a nice little bonus to Frank Lampard's transfer budget.
