Ireland’s weather is set to remain sunny right into next week for some lucky areas, with temperatures expected to hit 30C.
While thousands are off to their favourite European destinations, some are opting to staycation this year as the Covid pandemic continues to rage on.
According to the Irish forecaster, it’ll be dry, hot, and mostly sunny on Wednesday, with “some high cloud drifting into the southwest through the afternoon, turning the sunshine hazier here”.
Thursday will be another hot and dry day with spells of sunshine in most areas.
The sunshine will be a bit hazier than in recent days with more clouds around, but there will still be plenty of warm sunshine around.
Friday will see a mix of warm sunny spells and scattered showers - most of which look likely to occur over southern and western parts of the country, but it will remain very warm.
Then into the weekend most of the predicted showers will be confined to the east of the country, with lots of dry weather elsewhere.
