The Sunderland line-up fans want to see at Accrington Stanley tonight

Sunderland fans would like to see SIX big changes to the Black Cats side to face Accrington Stanley tonight.

Manager Jack Ross has already indicated he will rotate his squad for the Carabao Cup clash at the Wham Stadium, with Portsmouth at the Stadium of Light on Saturday for the televised League One game.

Black Cats supporters are keen to see some new faces in the side tonight - and a change of formation.

Sunderland have started with three at the back in their first two league games, although Ross switched back to a 4-4-2 line up in the second half at Ipswich - and saw his side earn a draw.

Fans want to see that formation again, but with some key personnel changes.

Lee Burge earns a first start in goal in the fans XI, with a recall for Alim Ozturk and Jack Baldwin in central defence.

Captain Grant Leadbitter is in line for a first start of the season, alongside Max Power, with Will Grigg paired alongside Marc McNulty up front.

Both strikers would love to open their account for the season - and while some may rest McNulty, it's a good chance for him to get off the mark in a Sunderland shirt.

Disagree? There's still time for you to pick your Sunderland XI below. We'll have team news in our live blog from 6.45pm tonight, followed by all the match action, analysis and reaction.
