The Sunday Roast: Irish comedian’s weekly rant podcast proving a welcome distraction for listeners

An Irish comedian’s weekly rant podcast is proving a welcome distraction for listeners.

Mark Mehigan's Sunday Roast podcast explores a different facet of Irish society each week and gives twenty minutes of his outrageous insights, experiences and observations from growing up in the capital in the 90s.

The funny 29-year-old from Foxrock, Co Dublin, told the Irish Mirror: “I’m used to having an existential crisis or two on a Sunday so I decided to start recording my despair.”

If you too are haunted by your first ever kiss in a teenage disco, have spent a Summer in Irish College or recall not making as much money as you'd hoped on your First Holy Communion - this might just be the catharsis you need.

Mark is currently working for the BBC in London and has lived in England since 2015.

Since launching in November 2019, the Sunday Roast has become a successful podcast in Ireland and regularly features at the top of the comedy podcast charts across the globe.

You can listen to the Sunday Roast podcast on spotify, Apple podcasts etc or follow him on instagram:  @MehiganMark, twitter @markmehigan .
