Spoilers for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 10 ahead.
We're only one episode away from the season finale, and The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 10 has finally turned a corner. Fans (rightfully) complained episode 9 "could have been a email" after Belly's (Lola Tung) first days in Paris didn't really show us anything new.
Instead of Belly having her Emily in Paris moment, we got more of Jeremiah's (Gavin Casalegno) poor behavior while both drunk and sober, Conrad (Christopher Briney) getting punished for merely expressing his feelings, and a little too much camera time for Steven (Sean Kaufman) and Taylor (Rain Spencer). After getting an entire trailer for the final farewell, it all felt like a massive missed opportunity.
But never fear, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 10 is here! Conrad has made his boldest move yet by getting on a flight to Paris, with Belly unknowingly reenacting Audrey Hepburn in the 1954 movie Sabrina while she writes wistful love letters (you can check that out below).

Given we've never been closer to a Conrad-Belly endgame, why am I still so focused on Jeremiah – and more to the point, why is he still giving me so much reason to hate him?

As the above tweet suggests, Jeremiah, for all intents and purposes, is shafted. He's on a losing streak after investing absolutely nothing of value into his own life, and now he's starting to face the consequences. However, this now also means that he's lashing out.
We see Jeremiah say that losing Belly is more painful than losing his mom (because "at least she's actually dead"), hooking up with multiple people shortly after the breakup, before whining to his friends that he's lost everybody and flat-out accusing his brother of "taking back" Belly from him vindictively.
It's all giving victim behavior, and I'm not here for it. In fact, I now hate him even more than I did at the start of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, and I didn't think that was possible. Thankfully, we've got Conrad on hand to put him in his place.

It's not even a fraction of what Jeremiah deserves, but the dressing down and public addressing of the behavioral issues that have been building up since episode 1 serves a purpose. Jeremiah reluctantly gives Conrad his blessing (like he needs it) to go after Belly, and by that evening, he's on the 10:45pm to Paris.
In an ideal world, the final-ever episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty (sob) will be at least two hours long, and gives enough breathing space to the Belly Conrad, or Bonrad, endgame we've all been waiting not-so-patiently for. We've currently got no idea how long episode 11 will be, so let's keep dreaming.
