If you’ve ever watched The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) and thought, “I would like to live in a perpetual YA romance, complete with questionable love triangles and bakery moments,” we have news for you.
TikToker Brynne Anika (@brynneanika) casually lives in Wilmington, North Carolina — the place where TSITP was actually filmed. And, because she’s a legend she’s gone rogue on TikTok, showing us the real-life spots so you too can step into Belly’s world (minus the existential family drama).
Little Loaf Bakery for your dark chocolate mirror glaze cake with a raspberry coulis

The tour starts at Little Loaf Bakery, or as Brynne’s mum accurately calls it, the “location of the apricot fruit crumble that’ll ruin all other crumbles for you”.
Brynne gives fair warning: “This place is so cute. If you come here, I suggest getting here like 15 minutes early because there’s always a line out the door.”
Forget a dramatic showdown over a dark chocolate mirror glaze cake with a raspberry coulis — “their bread is amazing and sells out all the time”.
But the best bit? Local tea, courtesy of the postal service. “My mailman stopped me at my front door and gave me all the tea,” Brynne said.
“He was like, ‘Did you know why Little Loaf is closed for the weekend? They said maintenance, but it’s not maintenance. You know what they’re doing? They’re filming The Summer I Turned Pretty.’”
The next day, “there were film trucks all throughout this whole parking lot area”.
Now that’s the kind of small-town scoop we’re here for.
Bespoke Coffee to recreate Taylor trying to find Belly’s engagement ring

Season three’s coffee shop scene happens at Bespoke Coffee, but the interiors have since gone through a facelift thanks to new owners.
Yes, you can still perch awkwardly where Belly (Lola Tung) told Taylor (Rain Spencer) she’s engaged to Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), but don’t expect things to look exactly as they did on screen.
The structure’s the same, which is probably enough for your TikTok flex. If you want a drink rec, Brynne’s all about their golden chai — warning, it’s got carrot extract, because apparently vegetables have infiltrated coffee culture.
Trask Family Farm to recreate *that* peach scene

Now, for the infamous peach scene. As Brynne puts it, “If you couldn’t tell by the peach, this is Trask Family Farm, where the infamous peach scene was filmed.”
Funnily enough Brynne is also allergic to peaches just like Conrad (Chris Briney) so while peaches may be the poster fruit, “you can actually pick your own flowers when you come here. You just grab a jar and then you pick your own bouquet. There’s so many butterflies here”.
It’s true cottagecore material. As for the scenery? “This is the actual farm in the background and the road leading up to the farm.”
So yes, you can literally recreate the exact backdrop from the series. We know you want to, you saucy minxes!
Head to Oceanic for family fights with ocean views

For your own awkward dinner head to Oceanic, where Belly and Jeremiah tell their families that they’re engaged.
Once inside, you can order brunch or dinner with “a beautiful view of the ocean with all the surfers too”.
Wilmington’s laid-back set energy means, “There’s been multiple times since I’ve lived here where I accidentally walk onto a set.”
As Brynne recalls, “Last spring, I was actually surfing out here with a friend and we accidentally walked onto the set of The Summer I Turned Pretty.
“There were boom mics over him too.”
So keep your eyes peeled — you might just end up as an accidental extra for the next Jenny Han flick.
Papercut Books: The real-life Whale Of A Tale

Lastly, Papercut Books — the bookshop known as Whale of a Tale in TSITP, where the fictional Laurel (Jackie Chung) has her book launch. Brynne had a meta moment and actually searched for the iconic book series.
“They finally restocked. Look, I’m going to get all three,” she said.
On the shop’s vibe, “This shop is honestly so gorgeous. I just love all the nooks.”
Even her friend, Katie, gets in on the act: “Look at her, she’s sitting in the same spot where Conrad, Jeremiah, and Steven (Sean Kaufman) were.”
So there you have it! If you’re looking to book your next holiday, maybe take your Taylor or find your Conrad in Wilmington, North Carolina. It’s what Susannah would have wanted.
PS: A BookTok themed travel package is a genius idea, somebody please make it happen.
