The Stylistics, a legendary soul group famous for their beautiful harmonies, will give a concert at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, on June 27.
Formed in 1968, the Philadelphia soul group is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Many of their hit tunes, from love ballads to rhythm and blues songs, are evergreen classics in the history of soul music. Among them are "You Make Me Feel Brand New," "You Are Everything," "Can't Give You Anything," "Let's Put It All Together" and "Rockin' Roll Baby," to name but a few.
The currently four-member group will perform with a live band.
The approximately two-hour concert, titled "The Stylistics Dramatic Night 2018," will start at 7 p.m. at the hotel's ballroom. Tickets are 18,000 yen to 22,000, yen including special three-plate dinner and four drinks.
