New York alternative rock five-piece The Strokes have announced a surprise gig at Belfast's Waterfront Hall, to take place later this month on February 24.
The band shared the news this morning, as they announced a list of gigs across Europe to take place over the next few weeks.
The Strokes are currently in the midst of working on their long-awaited sixth album, the follow-up to 2013's Comedown Machine.
The band, fronted by Julian Casablancas, achieved worldwide fame and success following the release of their debut album, Is This It, in 2001.
The Strokes recently performed a headline set at Electric Picnic in Ireland back in September, but this month's show will mark their first performance in Belfast for many years.
Tickets for The Strokes' performance at the Waterfront Hall go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday 5 February at 10am.
