The Strokes are set to perform together again for the first time in two years, in what has been teased as an international comeback.

Julian Casablancas, Albert Hammond Jr, Nick Valensi, Fabrizio Moretti, and Nikolai Fraiture will perform in Bilbao, Spain, as part of the BBK Festival in July 2019.

They haven't played together since 2017 – and while there have been talks of a possible new album in the future, no project has been confirmed so far.

The band's latest record together, the EP Future Present Past, was released in 2016.

The BBK Festival will take place from 11 to 13 July 2019.

Along with The Strokes, Thom Yorke, Weezer, and Suede have been announced as part of the line-up.

A representative confirmed to NME that the band's performance will be part of a "global comeback", with more festival dates in Europe and in the rest of the world to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Tickets for the BBK Festival are available for sale now and can be purchased on the festival's website.

Three-day admission starts at £112 ($142) and goes up to £112 ($159) for a ticket that includes camping – though those prices are scheduled to change on 7 January, 2019.

Members of The Strokes have kept busy over recent months: Casablancas released the album Virtue in March this year with his other band, The Voidz.

Hammond has put out four solo albums, the latest of which, Francis Trouble, also came out in March 2018.
