The Stranglers to play outdoor show at Kelvingrove Bandstand this show

Legendary UK rock band The Stranglers are set to headline a huge summer show in Glasgow’s west end at the Kelvingrove Bandstand this Summer.

The band, originally formed in 1974, were at the forefront of the UK’s punk rock scene, and have gone on to become one of the most iconic rock acts still around today.

They are known for hits like Golden Brown, Peaches and No More Heroes over their 45-year career - including the song Nice 'n' Sleazy which served as the inspiration of the popular Sauchiehall Street bar of the same name.

New weekend street food market planned for Glasgow's riverside  

The Stranglers will be joined by fellow 70s punk stalwarts Ruts DC (formerly known as The Ruts).

The gig will take place at the bandstand on June 29. Tickets cost £40.50 and can be bought HERE .
