The Stone Roses' Ian Brown announces Belfast show for May

Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown is set to embark on his first headliner tour in nearly a decade this summer, with performances across the UK and Ireland, including dates at Belfast's Ulster Hall and Derry's Millennium Forum.

Ian released his first solo material in nine years back in October 2018, with the single ‘First World Problems’.

His follow-up album, Ripples , came out in February 2019.

Brown is best known as the frontman for the hugely successful Manchester rock band The Stone Roses, whose self-titled debut album was released in 1989 and influenced a wave of Britpop bands for years to come, including Oasis.

The band as a whole last performed in Belfast back in June 2017.

Ian Brown will perform at Derry's Millennium Forum on May 19, followed by a show at the Ulster Hall on May 19.

Derry punk trio Touts will join Ian as special guests on all Irish dates.
