The Steph Show viewers in stitches after Steph McGovern makes very naughty innuendo

Steph McGovern left The Steph Show viewers in hysterics on Wednesday's edition of the Channel 4 show.

During the series - that is being filmed live from the broadcaster's home - Steph was joined by Opera singing Doctor Alex Aldren, who has become a viral Internet sensation.

Alex is a Royal Academy of Music opera student and studied medicine at the University of Birmingham and worked at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

During the coronavirus pandemic Alex has returned to the frontline to help the NHS as the nation battle the deadly bug.

Alex made headlines when a video clip was posted online of him singing Puccini’s aria ‘Nessun dorma’ to doctors, nurses and other clinical staff during a rare quiet moment in the hospital he is working in during the epidemic.

As he appeared via video link on The Steph Show, Steph was keen to find out how Alex discovered his sensational voice.

Steph cheekily asked: "You know, when you say you discovered your voice, did you knock-out a Nessun Dorma in the shower or something?".

The naughty mention did not go unnoticed by fans who took to Twitter to share they noticed the risqué remark.

One person who picked up on the racy comment typed: "Steph asking that dr if he was in the shower one day and just 'knocked one out' #thestephshow."

Another added: "My new favourite euphemism: knocked-out a Nessun Dorma in the shower.. #thestephshow."

The special lockdown TV series fronted by the news host has been praised by watchers since it began this week.
