A Carsethorn pub has been named the best in the region for the fourth year in a row.
And The Steamboat Inn could yet be named the best in the United Kingdom.
The bar has been chosen as the Dumfries and Galloway winner in the National Pub and Bar Awards for the fourth year running, with the Scottish and British winners due to be named at a ceremony in London on May 22.
Landlady Kate Reczko said: “It’s fantastic. I think everything we have sets us apart – the food, the location, the staff. It’s the whole experience.
