Leeds United fans could be forgiven for being somewhat nonchalant ahead of last night's FA Cup third round draw.
Promotion to the Premier League means that Marcelo Bielsa's side are now back among the big boys and trips to the likes of Stamford Bridge, Anfield and Old Trafford are now regular fixtures again.
Drawing a midtable League Two side in Crawley Town was therefore met with something of a collective shrug by supporters, who have earmarked the tie as a chance to give Bielsa's fringe players some much needed minutes.
A four-hour journey down the M1 is not ideal however and Leeds would no doubt have preferred a home tie, given the current climate and the busy time of year.
And it's fair to say Leeds were more than due a home tie, with Monday night's draw something of a statistical oddity.
As per Reddit user u/Battysboots who has undertaken some fine research on Leeds' recent draws, this was the eighth successive away tie Leeds have been handed in the FA Cup.
It gets better still however, as Leeds have been drawn away from home 27 times in their last 32 ties stretching back to 2002, far more than any other side have endured in the competition in recent years.
Supporters will not need reminding of the 2002 defeat at Cardiff City which began this run, nor the club's first-ever round one exit which happened at Hereford in 2008.
Histon, Sutton and Newport are other ghosts of FA Cup past that Bielsa's men will look to exorcise next month.
Last year's defeat at the Emirates to Arsenal was somewhat more heartening and it's also worth remembering Leeds' finest FA Cup moment in modern times came on their travels, when Jermaine Beckford scored an Old Trafford winner against Manchester United in 2010.
Leeds' visit to Crawley's Broadfield Stadium is due to take place in the weekend of Friday January 8 to Monday January 11. Should Leeds win in West Sussex, we will soon find out where their next away day will be.
