The stat that shows how Bristol City's transfer business has caught eyes across the Championship

Bristol City's transfer business appears to have caught the eye in the betting market.

The Robins splashed the cash over the summer, breaking their transfer record by signing Chelsea's Tomas Kalas.

City also signed Kasey Palmer and Jay Dasilva from the Blues, whilst Han-Noah Massengo, Adam Nagy and Benik Afobe also signed in eye-catching deals.

Some Robins supporters are concerned about their defence after the departure of Adam Webster to Brighton & Hove Albion but it does not seem to have dissuaded punters.

Betting aggregator Oddschecker reports that nine per cent of bets in the Championship promotion market have backed City to go up, which has sent their price crashing.

Earlier in the window, the Robins were not often ranked among the favourites to go up, despite just missing out on the play-offs last season.

However, their transfer activity has seen a number of bets come in for them.
