The stat that proves Frank Lampard has brought one thing back to Chelsea after Maurizio Sarri

Chelsea's season has had a mixed start, with the Blues having only be able to pick up five points from four games.

Going forward, the Blues have looked decent and have had the third amount of shots in the Premier League so far during the 2019/20 campaign.

However, defensively Frank Lampard's side have struggled to stop the leak of goals, with the Blues failing to keep a clean sheet so far.

In their four Premier League games, the west London side have conceded 9 goals, with another two coming in the Super Cup against Liverpool last month in Istanbul.

However, that doesn't seem to be down to a lack of bite in the Chelsea side, with Lampard having obviously brought back an extra bit of energy to the Chelsea team.

So far in their four Premier League games, the Blues have made 88 tackles, which is an average of 22 per match.

Last season, under Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea only completed 618 tackles, which averages out at 16.3 every match.

Eighty-eight tackles so far is the most in the Premier League.

Leading the way for the Blues is Emerson, with 15 tackles so far, adding to his excellent start to the campaign.

There is still an issue with Chelsea's defence, and the return of Antonio Rudiger and N'Golo Kante will likely aid that for Lampard.

And the Blues will be keen to get their first clean sheet against Wolverhampton Wanderers when the international break is over.
