"Urban Collectibles" returns for its landmark fifth edition to create a point of stillness at The StandardX, Bangkok Phra Arthit daily from 1pm to 9pm, from Friday to Sunday.
The exhibition will transform the luxury guest suites of the boutique riverside hotel into an intimate "living gallery", challenging the traditional "white cube" format and inviting collectors to experience art as it is meant to be lived.
Held under the theme "Moving City", this year's edition explores the emotional friction between Bangkok's relentless movement and the stillness found in personal expression.
It aims to provide a moment where art stops time, allowing the heart to rediscover hidden meanings.
Visitors are invited into the curated atmosphere of luxury suites. This "home" setting allows collectors to move beyond imagination and witness firsthand how a canvas masterpiece, a limited-edition vinyl collectible or an avant-garde design piece breathes life into a private space.
Among the galleries and art spaces set to offer a preview of a life lived with art are Art Zone Asia, Gallery.Sort of., Boo X Project Texture Printing Thailand, Mobella, Ming Art Space, Street Star Gallery and Dadsada Studio.
Featured artists include Joan Cornella, Muklay, Ping Hatta, Luck Maisalee, Pang Torsuwan, Itsuko Kiyokawa, Juart Woraset, Pnk.ff, Deja Jueng, Goodnight.XinqXinq and Nisra Sobhanasiri.
