The Stand Comedy Club will live stream two pantomimes for free over YouTube this Christmas.
The Stand in High Bridge usually puts on a panto every year, but with the North East in Tier 3, the club will not be able to open.
That hasn't stopped The Stand from putting together two Christmas shows, one for families and one for adults, which will be shown online for free.
The Stand, which is based in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle, Says: "It has been a tough year and we wanted to bring some festive cheer to everyone this Christmas with a free family show. As the public still cannot come to live indoor events, we will bring the show to everyone at home, schools and hospitals around the globe.
"We couldn’t let you have a panto-free Christmas now would we."
Cinderella & the Beanstalk (Family Friendly)
Hal Branson, Hannah Walker, Lee Kyle and Sammy Dobson star in the updated family-friendly panto, which will be streamed live on YouTube from 3pm on Sunday December 20. It will also be streamed on Facebook and Twitter and is FREE to watch.
The show will be available to watch again until January 17, 2021.
Cinderella & the Beanstalk (18+ version)
An adult's version of the Stand's panto will also be performed. It will be streamed live on Boxing Day (December 26) from 8.30pm. It will be free to watch.

The family-friendly panto airs from 3pm on Sunday December 20. The adult's version will be shown from 8.30pm on Saturday December 26.
