Gerwyn Price may well be something of a pantomime villain on the oche, but he's enjoyed a Hollywood pay packet over the last 12 months.
Price saw his dream of PDC World Championship glory ended by Peter Wright in Alexandra Palace on Monday night, going down 6-3 during an ill-tempered clash.
But while a first world title continues to elude him, the former Cross Keys RFC star still had the consolation of a cool £100,000 in prize money.
It means that Price's bank account heads into 2020 looking very healthy indeed, with the Welshman already picking up £125,000 for successfully defending his PDC Grand Slam of Darts title last month, which on that occasion saw him triumph over Wright.
Price also banked an extra £3,500 for finishing at the summit of his pool on that occasion, and became only the seventh player in history to retain a PDC major.
The Welshman followed that up with a defeat in the final of the Players Championship at the hands of Michael van Gerwen, but still scooped £50,000.
There's been several other big pay days along the way too, with Price failing to pick up prize money in just two of his 49 PDC events this year.
The 34-year-old won £60,000 for reaching the final of the European Championship back in October and also earned £70,000 for his efforts in the Premier League.
It all means that his prize money for the calender year now stands at £633,250.
