It was a big night for a number of Tottenham players in their final Champions League group game against Bayern Munich.
With qualification already assured of following their 4-2 win over Olympiacos last time out, Jose Mourinho made a few alterations as he left some key players back in the capital.
Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon were handed starts after a frustrating time through injury following their summer moves, with Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth also given rare opportunities in the team.
While it was ex-Fulham man Sessegnon who impressed with the team's only goal on the night, Foyth also caught the eye of his head coach having not played a single minute under him so far.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, the Portuguese boss named the Argentine when asked about his side's 3-1 defeat against the Bundesliga champions.
"A good match for me. I don't want to speak about conclusions as it's too strong a word, but I will say some important information," he said.
"I will give you a positive example as the positives examples are easier. Today I learned a lot about Foyth.
"He didn't play one minute with me until today but I learned more in this 90 minutes than in two or three weeks of work without playing.
"No conclusions but good information.
"Of course we played against a very good team and the best test is when you play against good players and good teams."
Foyth will be hoping he has done enough to feature in the Premier League on Sunday when Spurs travel to Molineux to take on Wolves.
