Tanguy Ndombele will be hoping to make an instant impression in the Premier League following his club-record transfer this summer.
The French international sealed a move to Tottenham at the start of July following his stunning performances in Ligue 1 and the Champions League over the past two years for Lyon.
While it will take the player time to settle and get used to Mauricio Pochettino's demands, everyone connected with the club are expecting big things from the French international over the coming years.
Ahead of his home debut against Aston Villa in Spurs' opening Premier League game of the 2019/20 campaign, the player opened up on his move to N17 and named the player he wants to emulate during his time in north London.
"To win silverware, that's one of the main reasons I am here," he said in the club's matchday programme. "Of course I hope to emulate Hugo's success here, or maybe do even better.
"You can always look to improve. But it's true to say that coming here to the club, I hope things are going to go well for me, and that as a club we can win things.
"For me, I hope we can win the Champions League, just like everyone does.
"But you know the Champions League is a really tough competition to win, things are decided by small margins and the strongest team doesn't always win.
"I just hope I can win it with Tottenham. That would be perfect for me."
