The special moment Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk reunited with former Reds' team-mate Ragnar Klavan

Virgil van Dijk was reunited with former Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan on Monday night as Holland took on Estonia.

Reds' midfielder Gini Wijnaldum was on the scoresheet as the Euro 2020 qualifying match ended in a 4-0 defeat for Klavan's side in Tallinn.

Following the game the two captains were all smiles in the tunnel as they exchanged shirts.

Klavan, who featured 53 times for the Reds during his two season spell at Anfield, looked in good spirits as Van Dijk asked: "Can I have your shirt too?"

A behind the scenes clip of the special moment was shared to social media by the Oranje's official Twitter.

After recording two strong wins with the Netherlands, including a 4-2 victory over Germany, Van Dijk now has his focus set on Liverpool's upcoming clash with Newcastle United.

The centre-back wrote to Twitter: "Job done! 2 games, 6 points. Been a good week, proud of the boys! Time to return back to Liverpool and focus on all the games ahead of us!"

Jurgen Klopp's side
will welcome the Magpies to Anfield on Saturday with the match scheduled for a 12.30pm kick off.
