This is the heartwarming moment Alan Curtis was given a guard of honour ahead of Swansea City 's Championship clash with Derby County at the Liberty Stadium.
It was announced in April in a statement that club legend Curtis will retire from first team coaching at the end of the season.
In the same statement, issued on Curtis' 65th birthday, it was also revealed that Curtis will become honorary president of the Swans following the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
And the Swans showed their affection to the man who has given them more than 40 years of service as a player and in various other roles, ranging from caretaker manager to first team assistant, by giving him a guard of honour ahead of the clash with Derby.
The game against Frank Lampard's side is the final home encounter of Graham Potter's debut campaign at the club.
It means the Jack Army - as well as the club's players and staff - were able to fully show their appreciation for Curtis' remarkable contributions to the club.
Both sets of players formed the guard of honour for Curtis who was then presented with an award in recognition of his phenomenal service to the club.
Curtis will be present at Swansea's final game of the season against Blackburn at Ewood Park on Sunday afternoon before officially retiring from his current role.
