He's a player who looks set for an incredibly bright future at Stamford Bridge, and Mason Mount is deservedly getting the plaudits.
The 20-year-old started the pre-season friendly victory over Spansh giants Barcelona as the Blues secured a 2-1 victory with goals from Tammy Abraham and Ross Barkley.
After taking the Championship by storm with Derby County, it's expected that the midfielder could be set to play a big role for the Blues this term.
After the clash in Japan, Mount took to social media to express his thanks to the Japanese supporters who came to see Chelsea in action during their tour.
However he was met with a message of support from a former Chelsea favourite.
He tweeted: "Great to round off the trip with a win against Barcelona! Thank you, Japan!"
This led to a response from former Blues midfielder Cesc Fabregas who replied: "Keep it up lad".
There aren't many footballers in world football who are better role models than Fabregas, who has enjoyed a career at the highest level with Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and now Monaco.
However if one man can help the 20-year-old reach that level, it's Frank Lampard.
