The sparkling Cardiff City ratings as duo boss it, Liverpool pair dazzle and Kieffer Moore gives Bristol City nightmares

ALEX SMITHIES N/A

Doesn't really feel appropriate giving him a rating after his early withdrawl.

PERRY NG 7

Another confident performance. Perhaps a little quiet compared to previous showings, but still made some decent contributions down the right-hand side.

SEAN MORRISON 7

Made some brilliant contributions to keep Bristol at bay. Commanded his defence well, and looked composed and assured.

CURTIS NELSON 8

As above. Earns an extra mark for his goal, which was brilliantly taken.

ADEN FLINT 7

Has his critics, but few will take issue with this showing. A solid performance at the back.

JOE BENNETT 7

Bombed up and down the flank brilliantly all afternoon. Looked good in the cross and seldom looked troubled defensively.

WILL VAULKS 8 STAR MAN

Mopped up nicely in the middle of the park. Some lovely defensive interventions and some even better passes to bring the front three into play. One of his best showings for some time in a Cardiff shirt.

JOE RALLS 8

If we weren't in Ralls Royce territory, we were very close. Once again dictated things in the middle of the park alongside Vaulks. Delivery was once again top notch.

SHEYI OJO 8

Linked up superbly with Moore all afternoon. Highlight was a stunning far-post cross for the striker to head home. Unlucky not score himself before the break.

HARRY WILSON 8

Was at the heart of nearly every postive move for City in the final third. Superb delivery for the opener. Certainly justified his inclusion in the starting line-up.

KIEFFER MOORE 8

Alfie Mawson and Co will be having nightmares about the Wales striker for some time after this showing. Bullied the Bristol back four all afternoon. Deserved his goal.

Subs

Dillon Phillips - Showed a few nerves, but grew into the game. A decent showing 7

Marlon Pack - Did what was required as Cardiff saw the game out 6

Leandro Bacuna - A lively cameo, but too late to really make a massive difference 6
