Bombed forward pretty nicely and put his foot in defensively. A very decent showing.

A commanding presence in the centre of the park. Tenacious as always and deserved his goal. Could he fill in the Joe Allen-shaped hole for Wales this summer?

Didn't have his usual level of influence, but an encouraging shift nonetheless.

A very good performance. Was a thorn in Barnsley's side down the right all afternoon.

Did the ugly stuff brilliantly and stood up well against a physical back four. Worked his socks off all afternoon and took his goal nicely.
