The solid Swansea City player ratings as Connor Roberts makes heroic intervention in Nottingham Forest win

FREDDIE WOODMAN 7

Reacted well to Anthony Knockaert's teasing cross in the first half but had little else to do, in truth. Clean sheet number 16 in the league this season.

KYLE NAUGHTON 7

Solid on the right side of Swansea's back three and made a few timely interceptions. Subbed in the second half.

RYAN BENNETT 7

Played a key part in building attacks from the back and made a fair few clearances but was booked for stopping a Forest counter attack in the first half. Solid once again.

MARC GUEHI 7

Let off as James Garner's pass to Lewis Grabban in the first half was marginally over-hit, but Guehi was otherwise solid. Made his fair share of clearances and was as good in possession as ever.

CONNOR ROBERTS - Star Man 7

Tried to give Swansea some attacking impetus, but couldn't get going in the Forest half. Defensively sound. What a leap for the header though. Superb stuff.

MATT GRIMES 7

Helped his side tick over in the middle of the park. Fairly uneventful in attack, but did his defensive duties well.

CONOR HOURIHANE 6

Tried to make things happen, but Swansea's play was too ponderous which didn't help matters. Quiet in fairness and was subbed late on.

JAY FULTON 7

A decent shift from the Scot in the middle of the pitch. He made stacks of tackles to break down Forest attacks.

JAKE BIDWELL 6

Frustratingly poor in possession in the first half but made a few decent deliveries in attack. Made a number of clearances though, and his cross for Roberts' winner was bang on the money though.

ANDRE AYEW 7

Looked the most likely to create something and had a driven shot blocked in the opening 45. Kept going, and his hold-up play impressed too.

JAMAL LOWE 6

Struggled to make an impact in the final third and really couldn't make much of an impact. Defensive work was good though. Hooked late on.

Subs

Jordan Morris (for Naughton) - Gave Swansea a bit of an outlet with pace. 6

Paul Arriola (for Lowe) - Didn't get to do much attacking as Forest controlled the ball. N/A

Korey Smith (for Hourihane) - Helped to see out the game. N/A
