The Sixers’ Mike Scott takes a sip of fan’s drink after falling into the crowd

The Philadelphia 76ers picked up Mike Scott as part of the Tobias Harris trade because they needed a shooter off the bench, and Mike Scott will shoot.

On Sunday, Scott became a Philadelphia legend.

During the Sixers’ game against the Bucks, Scott dove into the crowd as he successfully attempted to save a loose ball out of bounds. He had two rows of courtside fans to break his fall, and upon trying to regain his balance, Scott noticed one Bucks fan’s beverage.

He took a sip! Or at least he pretended to.

After taking a sip of the drink, Scott re-joined the play like it was nothing.

We’re unsure what the woman was drinking — was it beer or a cocktail? But Scott will likely get asked about the exchange after the game.

We now know that Scott takes his hydration seriously.
