Fans will have to wait a bit longer for football to return following confirmation that the professional game in England has been further postponed.
Initially suspended until Friday, April 3 due to the coronavirus pandemic, there will now be no action in the country taking place until no earlier than Thursday, April 30.
FA rules and regulations state that "the season shall terminate not later than the 1 June" and "each competition shall, within the limit laid down by The FA, determine the length of its own playing season", but it has been agreed for this limit to be extended indefinitely for the 2019/20 season.
Following the decision to postpone Euro 2020 by a year, it has created space in the calendar for league and cup football to be completed over the summer months.
The decision to suspend football in England until the end of next month means that a number of Premier League games need to be rearranged.
With Tottenham's fixtures against Manchester United and West Ham in March already postponed, a further four games in April need to be rescheduled.
Initially down to return in time for the away trip to Sheffield United on Saturday, April 4, the Lilywhites' games against Everton, Bournemouth and Arsenal will also now be played on different dates.
The postponements will now give Jose Mourinho's injured players more time to regain their fitness and return to action.
Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko have been out since New Year's Day with respective hamstring and knee injuries, with Son Heung-min also sidelined due to the arm injury he sustained in Spurs' win at Aston Villa the following month.
January signing Steven Bergwijn is also currently in the treatment room with an ankle issue and Mourinho will be hopeful to have the quartet back to fitness by the time they are back on the pitch.
Here are the Tottenham fixtures that need to be rescheduled:
Sunday, March 15 - Manchester United (H)
Friday, March 21 - West Ham (H)
Saturday, April 4 - Sheffield United (A)
Saturday, April 11 - Everton (H)
Saturday, April 18 - Bournemouth (A)
Sunday, April 26 - Arsenal (H)
