Covid-19 cases continue to plunge across the North East.
Infection rates are still falling in every North East council area.
Cases in Northumberland alone dropped by over 35% in the past week.
Huge swathes of County Durham and Northumberland recorded possibly no new covid cases last week, as did much of North Tyneside's coastline.
Elsewhere, cases were also rock bottom in the likes of South Gosforth, Heworth and Washington town centre.
The virus is currently 'suppressed' there, meaning there were no more than two cases in the past seven days - and potentially none.
However, there are still pockets of the region where infection rates are still rising.
While Horden has the highest infection rate in the region (311.1), cases in that part of County Durham fell last week.
However there are six postcodes where the infection rate is still above 200 - which is similar to the rate before Christmas across much of the North East - yet are still increasing.

- Howdon - 235.8 (15 cases, an increase of eight)
- West Harton - 252.9 (15 cases, an increase of six)
- Birtley North and Kibblesworth - 205.3 (16 cases, an increase of four)
- Hall Farm - 216.6 (12 cases, an increase of one)
- Easington and Hawthorn - 226.7 (13 cases, an increase of seven)
