The simple McDonald's hack that gets you a Big Mac and fries for £1.99 every time you visit

If you're a fan of McDonald's, you'll be pleased to know that there's a savvy hack that will bag you a Big Mac and fries for £1.99 every single time you visit - without needing a voucher code.

To get yourself a meal for less than £2, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Buy any item from McDonald's  - if you want something cheap a mini McFlurry costs 69p. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE RECEIPT!

2. Look at the top of the receipt - there you'll find a 'tell us how we did' section which contains a unique code.

3. Head to ' www.mcdfoodforthoughts.com ' where you''ll be asked to fill out a quick survey.

4. When you've completed it you'll be given a five digit number - if you write it on your old receipt it becomes a voucher for a £1.99 Big Mac and fries.

You'll just need to fill out a quick McDonald's survey (www.mcdfoodforthoughts)

You can do this every time you visit, so keep it going!

A medium Big Mac and fries meal usually costs £5.09, so you can save yourself some serious cash in the long run.

Earlier today McDonald's confirmed that it will officially roll out breakfast hours to last up until 11am as of next week.

Earlier this year McDonald's ran a series of trials in selected restaurants across the UK, which saw breakfast serving hours extended from 10.30am to 11am.

The trials proved a success, and McDonald's has now decided to roll-out the 11am cut-off as a permanent fixture.

Michelle Graham-Clare, McDonald’s UK vice president food & marketing, said: "We all understand the pain of missing out on a McMuffin by a matter of minutes.

"We have listened to our customers’ pleas and are delighted to extend breakfast serving time until 11am, particularly as we head into the festive season when we see a rush of latecomers searching for those all-important hash browns."

The changes will come into place on Wednesday 20 November.
