The sign of a good team is to win when you are not playing well - and Nottingham Forest did that

Nottingham Forest produced a dramatic late turnaround to clinch what could prove to be a crucial Dramatic finish sees Nottingham Forest keep play-off hopes alive with victory over Swansea City.

Martin O’Neill’s side looked to have been heading for a second successive home defeat, only to show great character and rescue three points right at the death through Daryl Murphy and Molla Wague.

And Reds reporter Paul Taylor gives his verdict on the Championship clash in our latest Forest video.

Dramatic finish sees Nottingham Forest keep play-off hopes alive with victory over Swansea City

They needed goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon to make a good save either side of the break to keep the score at 0-0, with Matt Grimes and George Byers both denied.

In the end the pressure told however, as the visitors took the lead in the 76th minute.

Byers’ shot took a deflection off Connor Roberts to beat Pantilimon and give Swansea the advantage.

'Is he a striker in disguise' - Nottingham Forest ratings as Molla Wague nets dramatic winner against Swansea

Substitute Murphy levelled the scores when he headed in Joe Lolley’s corner, offering vindication for O’Neill’s decision to bring him on for top scorer Lewis Grabban – a decision which had been booed by some in the crowd.

And with three minutes to go, the comeback was complete.

After an effort from Lolley earned another flag-kick, the winger whipped the ball in, with Wague this time heading home his third goal for the club.

The win keeps the Reds still in the play-off hunt with seven games to go, and they will be looking to follow it up when they head to Rotherham United next weekend.
