The shortest Liverpool transfer deadline day odds including Ozan Kabak

It's transfer deadline day and rather unusually for Liverpool, it's been a busy one so far.

The Reds are close to completing the signings of two centre-backs - Ben Davies of Preston North End and Ozan Kabak of Schalke.

Jurgen Klopp is expected to get two new central defenders through the door before the 11pm deadline with his side's injury crisis worsening recently.

With this said, we take a look at SkyBet 's latest odds on who Liverpool could sign before the end of today.

Ozan Kabak - 1/20

It comes as absolutely no surprise that Kabak has such low odds to make the move to Merseyside.

According to recent reports, the 20-year-old has passed a medical in Germany to complete the switch to the champions.

If Kabak does indeed sign, then he wouldn't quite have completed the deal in time to play for Liverpool against Brighton on Wednesday evening.

Ben White - 9/1

This one is looking more and more unlikely as time progresses today, but Ben White is still relatively short odds to make a switch to Anfield.

White has been brilliant for Brighton this season after an impressive campaign on loan at Leeds United last term.

However, with Kabak and Davies looking likely to join the Reds, a deal for the English defender looks very unlikely.

Conor Coady - 14/1

The former Liverpool defender was linked with a return to the club last month.

Coady, for the meantime at the very least, looks set to stay at Wolves - where he has been in brilliant form over the past few seasons.

Romain Saiss - 12/1

Saiss has not been involved in Wolves' last few 18-man squads for their Premier League games which has led to speculation over his future.

We saw something similar with Diogo Jota in the summer when he eventually moved to Liverpool, which fuelled rumours of centre-back coming to Merseyside.

However, a deal for the 30-year-old before the deadline now looks very unlikely.
