The shop selling trainers with 80% off including Adidas and Nike

High street giant Schuh have a pretty handy way to save on trainers online- but it's hidden and not many people know about it.

The popular shoe store has the discounts tucked away from the main menus- where shoppers have found huge savings on trainers, work shoes and boots.

Schuh are offering massive discounts on some of its best-selling, big brand products if you're willing to put up with some minor imperfections.

There are £60 shoes selling for £6.99, better than half price offers on Adidas, Converse, Nike and many more.

We've seen Adidas Gazelles down from £70 to £24.99, Converse All Stars for £20.99 (down from £50) and UGG lace ups down from £195 to just £35.99.

How does it manage it? The clue is in the name, with all the deals available part of the  Schuh Imperfects  range thanks to small cosmetic issues in the box.

"Our imperfect items may suffer some blemishes such as: scratches or scuffs, discoloured or faded, irremovable dirty marks," Schuh explains.

But the good news is you know exactly what you're buying, so won't be in for any nasty surprises.

"We've provided photographs of the actual shoe you'll receive with a brief description of the imperfection," Schuh explains.

"Where there is more than one imperfection, an image of each is shown."

Deals are available to search by gender, size, brand and more - and that includes kids shoes.

The nature of what's on offer changes each week - as imperfections are spotted - and the retailer warns goods might not always arrive in their original packaging.

But given how long shoes generally last before a scuff, scratch or mark ends up on them - and how long we happily keep wearing them after it does - it seems silly not to see if you can sage a packet on the first place.
