Arsenal fans are having an excellent week as news of a third emerges.
Football.London understands that the Gunners have stepped up their interest in Lille winger Nicolas Pepe, with the north London side in advanced talks to sign the 24-year-old.
It is a move that will end their interest in Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha.
Everton have been linked as suitors to the former Manchester United wide player after Arsenal failed to match the valuation of his club.
If Arsenal can agree a deal, it will be a huge boost after seeing off interest from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Napoli and Inter Milan for the winger.
Nicolas Pepe would undoubtedly be a huge boost for Unai Emery's squad, with his ability likely to compliment the Gunners squad perfectly.
But what about his squad number?
At present, Pepe wears the number 19 jersey for French Ligue 1 side Lille.
This could work out perfectly for the winger, as that number is now vacant after goalkeeper Bernd Leno changed his to number one.
Whether it's a coincidence, or a premeditated incentive to get him through the door, it may be the case that the stars are alligning as Arsenal look to bolster their side with the exciting talent.
