Tottenham have finally confirmed the signing of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis.
The Argentine midfielder moves to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a season-long loan deal with an option to make it permanent from the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
Lo Celso has been linked with a move to north London since the start of June but it has taken until the final day of the transfer window to complete the move.
Betis were intent on getting around £70million for their star man after a sensational year in La Liga and agreeing on a deal with the Lilywhites certainly proved troublesome.
However, the good news is that the player is now a Spurs player and that will go down extremely well with Mauricio Pochettino, who was intent on bringing him to N17 ahead of the new season.

It has now been confirmed that Lo Celso will wear the No.18 shirt during his time at Tottenham.
Fernando Llorente previously wore the number in his two years at the club but his contract expired at the end of last season.
Lo Celso will be available to make his debut for the club in Saturday's opener against Aston Villa providing that the club register him with the Premier League by midday on Friday.
If Pochettino resists the temptation of naming the new signing in his squad against Dean Smith's side, his debut could come against either Man City or Newcastle United in their next league games.
