The seven players joining Lee Gregory in leaving Millwall as Lions confirm retained list

Millwall have confirmed that seven first team players will be leaving the club this summer after announcing the retained list following the end of the 2018/19 season.

The Lions have confirmed that Jordan Archer, Tom King, Sid Nelson, Conor McLaughlin and Ryan Tunnicliffe have all been informed that their contracts will not be renewed, while Ben Marshall and Ben Amos are returning to their respective parent clubs, Norwich City and Bolton Wanderers, following their loan spells.

In a statement, Millwall have confirmed that fellow loanee Alex Pearce will join the club on a permanent basis from July 1, while David Martin and Lee Gregory have both been offered fresh terms.

However, Gregory is set to leave the club after informing Millwall of his intention to search for a new club.

Meanwhile, Millwall have also confirmed that Tom Elliott and Steve Morison have had clauses activated which mean they are now under contract for the 2019/20 season.

Several players from the club's U23 squad will also be released at the end of their contracts, with Harry Donovan, Lewis White, Mason Saunders-Henry, Mich'el Parker, Jethro Handon, Rob Harvey, Joe Wicks and Lazar Stojsavljevic all set to leave.

But Millwall have confirmed that Jesse Debrah and Isaac Olaofe have had options activated in their contracts, while Ryan Sandford has been offered fresh terms and Danny McNamara recently signed a new deal.

In their statement, the club said: "Millwall would like to place on record its gratitude to every player leaving the club for their efforts and professionalism during their time at The Den, and wish each and every one of them the best of luck in the future."
