Vaccine steward volunteers are needed in seven areas of Greater Manchester.
Volunteer stewards are needed to guide people who come for their Covid-19 jabs at vaccination sites across England.
Over 2,000 shifts need filling across the country each day.
According to the NHS volunteer responders website, stewards are required to "ensure the efficient flow of people to clinical assessment, vaccination and exit while respecting social distancing."
Volunteers are also there to identify people who require additional support, the role description states.
The role requires volunteer stewards to commit to at least two six-hour shifts at a vaccination site each month.
In Greater Manchester, steward volunteers are needed in:
- Bolton
- Manchester
- Oldham
- Rochdale
- Salford
- Stockport
- Wigan
Stewards may be asked to support with managing queues and directing people to the right place.
Stewarding at vaccination sites can also involve monitoring numbers and ensuring safe social distancing measures are followed.
As part of the role, registered volunteers may also be asked to support with stewarding at flu vaccination sites and support the NHS with non-clinical tasks such as signposting people around a health site or helping them check-in.

No experience or qualifications are required for the role.
A DBS is not required, although you will be asked to declare any unspent convictions as part of the application process.
