The Search for WondLa is the first book of a series and there are three books in the series. The Search for WondLa is about a 12-year-old called Eva Nine. She was raised in an underground sanctuary by Murther (Murther is a robot). But when a strange monster called Besteel invades Eva's sanctuary, she's forced to flee. She meets new friends and new enemies along the way.
Eva saves one thing from her sanctuary – a picture of a human, a robot, and a baby in a carriage standing in a field of red flowers with the letters WondLa printed at the bottom. Could Eva's WondLa be the answer to her questions?
I like this book because its a large book but filled with description and adventure! My favourite character is Otto, because he is cute and he could sense Besteel coming and dig a tunnel for Eva and Rovander. My least favourite character is Besteel, because he is very selfish trying to catch Eva to stuff her, just to put her in a museum! I would recommend this book to 9-13-year-olds. If you have seen The Spiderwick Chronicles, or read the books you should like this book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
