The Script's rescheduled Newcastle gig clashes with two other massive events in the North East.
There was disappointment on Friday night when it was revealed that the band who've given us hits like Breakeven, Hall of Fame and The Last Time, postponed their Utilita Arena show , less than 24 hours before they were due to take to the stage at the Tyneside concert venue.
The show hasn't been cancelled completely as a rescheduled date of July 18 .
However, while the fact that the Irish lads WILL eventually return to Newcastle has softened the blow of Saturday's postponement, it's put some fans in a quandary as the new date is on the same day as two other big events in the region.
July 18 is the same day that Westlife play a huge outdoor concert in Chester-le-Street at Emirates Riverside ground, while it is also the second day of the UK Pride celebrations in Newcastle.
A number of ticket holders have already commented on the Utilita Arena's Facebook post about the gig to say they can't make the rescheduled date because of other commitments.
If you're in the same boat, refunds are being offered for The Script.
The latest advice from the arena is that refunds for those unable to make the rescheduled show will be available from your point of purchase. Contact your ticketing company direct or the arena if you purchased in person from the box office.
At the time of writing, no other events at the Utilita Arena had been affected, but that could change with news that the UK government is set to ban mass gatherings to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
