The Script's Danny O'Donoghue trains with Conor McGregor's striking coach Owen Roddy

The Script's Danny O'Donoghue has been pictured training with Conor McGregor's striking coach Owen Roddy.

The head coach at SBG Charlestown uploaded a snap with The Script's frontman at the Dublin gym on his Instagram story on Thursday.

On it, he commented: "Last session with @thescript_danny @sbgcharlestown today. Great work pal see you soon!"

Danny previously shared a snap of himself and Roddy on social media.

He said on it: "What a few days it’s been working with @coachowenroddy , picked up so much in such little time. The way you lay it out makes it easy to pick up #worldclass and an honor to be in their with you. Look forward to getting back in.
The t shirt is to hide the bruises, inside and out lol."

Meanwhile, Roddy is backing McGregor to get back to winning ways when he makes his UFC return against Donald Cerrone.

The Notorious faces 'Cowboy' in his first UFC bout since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov later this month.

Speaking on MMA Fighting's Eurobash podcast last month, Roddy said: "Let’s not look past Cerrone. He’s a tricky opponent and he’s a veteran with tricks up his sleeve.

"But Conor going in there the way he looks now, he should do well."
