The Script in Newcastle - stage times and support act for Utilita Arena show

*THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED AND RESCHEDULED TO JULY 18*

With just days to go until St Patrick's Day, Irish eyes will be smiling on Newcastle on Saturday when The Script return to the city.

Always a popular draw when they play here, the lads from the Emerald Isle are playing the Utilita Arena once again after going down a storm there in 2015 and 2018.

The band responsible for massive hits like Superheroes, Hall of Fame and Breakeven, will be playing to a capacity Tyneside crowd, with the gig coming after they revealed they've been forced to postpone several  European tour dates due to the spread of coronavirus.

The Utilita Arena have issued a coronavirus statement, following a number of queries from music fans as to whether events were still going ahead, after The Who postponed their gig there.

The Script's Newcastle gig IS going ahead and if you have a ticket, or fancy getting a last minute one from Ticketmaster, here is the key information you need to know:

Support act

The Script are being supported on tour by Becky Hill, who is currently riding high in the charts with belting new single Better Off Without You.

Becky shot to fame on the first series of The Voice UK back in 2012 and has been a chart regular ever since with songs like Gecko (Overdrive) and Wish You Well.
