The Savannah Bananas are a fun a raucous trip to the baseball diamond every time they have a game. As an exhibition team, the Bananas weave entertainment, songs and crowd interaction with the baseball action.
On Wednesday night, the Bananas busted out a classic song and dance routine. After one at-bat, the entire team got involved in a rousing rendition of “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life” by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, made especially famous by the final dance scene of 1987’s Dirty Dancing.
It’s truly impressive, especially considering how well-executed the lift is at the climax of the song. Well done, Bananas.
