With Cardiff constantly growing the property market is becoming even more competitive.

Now property website Zoopla has looked at all the figures and worked out just how much you need to earn to buy a property across the Welsh capital.
The data shows a big difference across all the areas in the city with the lowest income needed of £22,500 compared to the highest topping out at almost £90,000.
The average cost of a home bought by a first time buyer in the country is £220,000, and in the last 12 months the average price paid for a property in Cardiff was £242,314.
The average house price for first time buyers is the median price of the property first time buyers were inquiring about during the last six months.
