The Ryanair hack that gets you seats on the plane for free

There's a huge debate around just which seat is the best on a plane, but many do agree that the spacious front row is a top contender.

Despite being close to the toilets, the front row seats do come with extra leg space, no one in front of you, and you’re first off when the plane lands.

The only downside to these seats seems to be that Ryanair often makes you pay for them.

Deal hunter and Latest Deals co-founder Tom Church has found a sneaky way to almost always end up with one of the best seats on the plane, reports the Mirror .

The hack actually involves less effort than usual - all you have to do is check in at the last minute, right before check-in closes around 2 hours before the flight.

That way, you’re in with a better chance of being randomly allocated one of the premium, more expensive seats that have gone unsold.

The front-row seats usually set you back an extra £7 per flight, but get allocated free if nobody buys them.

However, if you are travelling  as a group or want to make sure you’re sitting with friends, it may not be worth the risk.
